Sorry,
I need some help, this question has probably been asked a thousand times, so I apologize.
I have updated the days from AAF 168 to 171, but now aaf scenes are no longer executed. My character just stands still and can't be moved anymore. I must be doing something. The only question is what. Please help!
This sounds like it is due to having AAF NativeSync installed.
I have the same problem,AAF 166 works well, but AFF 171 will have this problem, character just stands.
Do you have NativeSync installed? If so, try disabling it.

Hi friend, you may have already been fed up with questions about the VR version, but I'll ask again. Could you make an option with an adaptive version of AAF for VR, without the need for serious adjustments in animation. The main thing is that the module would start.
I don't mind questions about VR.
AAF uses LLFP to implement plug-in scoped features. That is not compatible with the VR version of F4SE.
In theory, AAF could be adjusted to not depend on LLFP. But, it would require quite a lot of re-writing and testing. I would prefer to wait to see if LLFP can be made compatible with F4SE VR.

LLFP meaning the old Four Play mod? Because I'm fairly certain that does actually work in VR.

It's not the same mod. LLFP is a scripting functionality mod.
I checked with one of the authors that works on LLFP and he confirmed that it does not work with the VR version of F4SE.
Most likely, it does not cause a crash until another mod tries to use one of its functions. Which is why it looks like "AAF doesn't work with VR but LLFP does." AAF simply fails in VR (as expected) as soon as it calls an LLFP function.
